The STIs Early Detection Package is a comprehensive diagnostic panel designed to detect common sexually transmitted infections (STIs) as early as 10 days after exposure. It includes a Urine Test for STDs (Multiplex PCR) and a DNA PCR Test for HSV-1 and HSV-2. This package includes two advanced tests: 1. Urine Test for STDs (Multiplex PCR): Detects bacterial and parasitic infections like Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and Trichomonas vaginalis. 2. DNA PCR Test for HSV-1 and HSV-2: Identifies the genetic material of Herpes Simplex Virus. The tests in this package are highly effective in detecting most STIs within 7–10 days after exposure, offering reliable early diagnosis. This package is ideal for individuals who: > Had unprotected sexual contact or suspect STI exposure. > Are experiencing symptoms like unusual discharge, itching, or genital sores. > Want proactive screening for peace of mind and better sexual health. The package uses advanced PCR technology, providing high sensitivity and specificity to ensure accurate and reliable results. o special preparation is required, but: Avoid urinating for at least 1–2 hours before providing the urine sample. Refrain from applying creams or ointments to lesions if providing a swab sample for HSV testing.
HIV transmission cannot be eliminated if individuals do not know their HIV status (i.e., whether they are HIV positive or HIV negative). An HIV test is the only way to determine if a person is living with the virus.
An estimate of 2,100,000 individuals in India are living with the virus in 2015. Approximately 100,000 new HIV infections occur each year in India.
More than 50 percent of people living with HIV are unaware that they have the virus
STIs are sexually transmitted infections and are also called as STDs ie sexually transmitted diseases. These are infections that spread by sexual activity.
If you had sexual relationship with a person who may be a stranger or whose status you do not know, it is recommended to get screened for STIs.
The STIs may not show any symptoms for several weeks or months, hence testing is the safest option.
Ulcer/Sore/Blisters on private parts or around anus or mouth.

Bacterial STIs can be easily cured with antibiotics if treatment begins early enough.
The viral STIs are very effectively managed with modern medicines.
HIV is easily managed with ART provided it is detected early. People with HIV whose viral load becomes undetectable with ART can expect normal to near normal life spans.
It is possible to cure Hepatitis C. Hepatitis B can also be effectively managed.
Fungal and protozoal STIs can usually be cured too.
According to WHO , 1 million (10 lakh) STIs occur every day in the world. The good news is, with early detection these can be easily cured or managed.
