Q: What is a female condom?

Female condom is a thin, soft, loose fitting sheath with a flexible ring at both ends and is made up of Polyurethane. It looks just like a male condom except that it has two rings. Q: HOW TO INSERT A FEMALE CONDOM?

The correct way of using it is as given below:
  1. Take the condom out of the pocket (do not tear it while opening the packet)
  2. Push the smaller ring at the closed end of condom and insert it into vagina with the help of thumb or middle finger so that it becomes long and narrow
  3. Make sure that the larger ring at the open end covers the entire vaginal opening
  4. Penis should enter into the female condom, not between condom and vaginal wall.
  5. Remove the condom immediately after intercourse by slowly pulling it out or you can squeeze and twist the larger ring. Make sure there is no leakage of semen into vagina
  6. Dispose it off by wrapping it properly into the bin, down in the toilet
