You fall in love. You move on. It hurts. It hurts more than hurt. Tending to a broken heart, you try to heal. It<\/em><\/strong>\u2019s hard. You heal. You fall again. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n It\u2019s sad when a bad relationship transforms into bad luck with relationships. In fact, many psychologists support the fact that being in a chain of bad relationships makes one introspect, obsessing over yourself, over thinking about your flaws, trying to find reasons, seeking answers. Like<\/strong><\/p>\n Love is blind until the reality sets in. Don\u2019t\u00a0fall\u00a0head\u00a0over\u00a0heels\u00a0for someone unless you have a\u00a0strong\u00a0liking\u00a0for them. Compatibility doesn\u2019t mean you\u2019ve to watch the same TV shows nor having same pets. That\u2019s negotiable. It\u2019s the greater views on life, love and relationships that should match.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Acceptance<\/strong><\/p>\n Firstly, accept yourself then secondly accept your partner. You\u2019ve fallen in love. Love them for what they are, not for what you thought they\u2019ll be. Accept them and love them, as a whole, complete with their flaws.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Great Expectations<\/strong><\/p>\n I can\u2019t fly in the sky like a bird. I\u2019d want to, but I can\u2019t. You can\u2019t burden someone with your unrealistic expectations. It\u2019s fatal for a relation. Make efforts. Think of ways you can make them feel special. It\u2019s another step towards your own happiness.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Practice Empathy<\/strong><\/p>\n We all have a list of things we regret saying. Yet we regret more the words that remain unsaid. Don\u2019t regret. Reflect kindness. Listen intently. Speak honestly. Open up.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Unwind<\/strong><\/p>\n So you\u2019re love smitten and all you want to do is be around that one special person. Whole world around ceases to exist but then, there\u2019s more to life. Step back and give some space. Never lose yourself in the bid to discover true love.<\/p>\n Finally, always just remember that all relationships go through hell.
